Gennaro Gattuso has this afternoon been named as the new Coach of Greek outfit OFI Crete.
The former Milan midfielder began last season as Palermo boss but was sacked after a poor start to the Sicilian club’s Serie B promotion bid.
He also previously had a spell as Player-coach at Swiss team Sion, which he left to take charge of the Rosaneri.
The 36-year-old has now secured his return to the dugout in charge of the island team, who finished sixth in this season’s Greek Super League.
He has joined the club on a one-year contract.
