Milan have announced that defender Alessio Romagnoli has extended his contract with the club until 2022.
Romagnoli’s new deal was revealed in a live broadcast on Milan’s official Facebook page, surely bringing an end to the speculation linking the 23-year-old with Juventus.
“I thank [CEO Marco] Fassone and [sporting director Massimiliano] Mirabelli,” he said during the announcement.
“We hope it’ll be a renewal that brings us many satisfactions, both next season and also in those to come.

The Roma youth product joined the Rossoneri in the summer of 2015 for €25m and has gone on to make over 100 appearances at San Siro, as well as break into the Italy squad.
