“Grenier, 26, has opted to take the No. 7 shirt for the Giallorossi.
“During his time at Lyon he made 152 appearances, having graduated from the club's academy system. In that period he scored 18 goals and contributed 28 assists. He has five caps for France.”
The 26-year-old midfielder completed his medical this morning and assured reporters he was “ready to play straight away.”
His career has been blighted by recent injuries, including a hernia operation and fractured femur.
Grenier will not be available for Roma’s Europa League fixtures, as Lyon dropped into the tournament after finishing third in the Champions League group behind Juventus and Sevilla.
