Genoa have confirmed the signing of Mateo Retegui, showing the moment the Italy international put pen to paper on his contract with the club.
Retegui landed in Italy from Argentina earlier this week and has now completed a move to Genoa in a deal worth circa €15m.
Genoa confirmed the striker’s purchase on Wednesday afternoon with a Twitter video published before an official announcement on their website.
Retegui made his senior Italy debut in March and has scored two goals in three appearances with the Azzurri. He will be coached by 2006 Italy World Cup winner Alberto Gilardino at Marassi.
