Roma have officially confirmed that young full-back Luca Pellegrini has signed a new four-year contract.
The defender hasn’t played competitively for the capital club, but he has been in Eusebio Di Francesco’s squad on a number of occasions.
“The club is delighted to confirm that teenage full-back Luca Pellegrini has signed a new long-term contract with the Giallorossi,” a statement on the Lupi’s official website reads.

“The 19-year-old, an Italy Under-19 international and former title-winner with the Giallorossi’s Primavera side, has signed an extension with his boyhood club until 2022.”
Pellegrini spoke to the website after his renewal, confirming his commitment to the club.
“I am passionate about Roma and always wanted this renewal, as those who know me know. It is not easy to explain such a great feeling in words – but I hope to show it on the pitch.”
