English side Brentford have officially signed midfielder Christian Norgaard from Fiorentina on a four-year contract.
A statement on Brentford’s official website adds Norgaard’s deal has the option of a fifth season.
However, whereas Sky Sport Italia is reporting a transfer fee of €4m (£3.5m), its English equivalent expects the EFL Championship club to pay €3.2m (£2.8m).
The Dane was brought in as a replacement for Milan Badelj last year but made just six Serie A appearances, amounting to only 323 minutes of football.
