Official: Inter sign Pavard from Bayern Munich

Inter have officially announced the arrival of Benjamin Pavard, who has joined on a five-year deal from Bayern Munich.

The Nerazzurri had been waiting to sign the 27-year-old French right back for over a week after agreeing a €32m total deal but were forced to wait as Bayern worked to find a replacement.

Pavard was finally given the green light to complete his move to Inter on Tuesday, flying to Italy before undergoing his medicals this morning.

As announced today, Pavard has now officially signed for Inter, signing a five-year contract understood to be worth around €5m net per season plus add-ons.

Due to the fact that the July 2 deadline was missed, the Nerazzurri cannot take advantage of the Growth Decree until January 2024, increasing the cost of his first few months in the Lombardy capital.

Pavard helped Bayern win four league titles, one DFB-Pokal, the Champions League and the Club World Cup. He made 163 appearances across all competitions during his four years at the club, scoring 12 goals and providing 12 assists.
