Genoa have officially sacked their coach Davide Ballardini, with Andriy Shevchenko ready to take over at Marassi.
Genoa have only won one Serie A game out of 11 so far this season and yesterday’s 2-2 draw against Empoli convinced new club owners 777 Partners to sack the Italian tactician.
Genoa have just announced the coach’s dismissal.
“Genoa have relieved Davide Ballardini of his duties,” the official statement read.
“The club thank the coach and his staff for his work and passion that he always proved.”
