Turkish giants Fenerbahce confirm they have reached an agreement with Milan to sign Rade Krunic.
“Our club continues its efforts to strengthen our Professional Football Team during the winter transfer window,” Fenerbahce said in a statement published on X, formerly Twitter.
“We reached an agreement in principle with midfielder Rade Krunic and his club Milan. The football player will come to Istanbul today for health checks.”
Sky Sport Italia and Calciomercato.com confirm that Krunic is already on his way to Istanbul. The deal is reportedly worth €5m plus €1m add-ons.
The Turkish giants were in talks with Krunic last summer but did not manage to secure his signature, failing to reach an agreement with Milan.
Krunic was a regular starter for the Rossoneri at the beginning of the season but has fallen down Stefano Pioli’s pecking order in recent months and spent the five most recent Serie A games entirely on the bench.
Fenerbahce will confirm his signature once Krunic completes his medical with the club.
The Turkish giants have also welcomed Leonardo Bonucci in the January transfer window, confirming his purchase on Thursday.
Krunic had joined Milan from Empoli on a permanent €8.5m transfer in 2019.
