Official: Chievo sign Djordjevic

Chievo have officially confirmed they’ll sign Lazio’s Filip Djordjevic when his contract expires on June 30.

The Serbian striker joined the Biancocelesti from Nantes in the summer of 2014, but was frozen out of the team this season and didn’t make a single appearance.

“A.C. Chievo Verona announces the signing, with effect from July 1 2018 of the player Filip Djordjevic, the striker whose Lazio contract expires on June 30 2018,” a statement on the Flying Donkeys’ website reads.

“The contract signed by the Serbian player with the Gialloblu will last three years, expiring on June 30 2021, with an optional extension for a fourth year.”
