Inter have completed the signing of Atalanta teenage prospect Alessandro Bastoni, but he will stay in Bergamo for two more years.
The San Siro club have formally submitted the paperwork of the defender’s contract to Italian football’s governing bodies, meaning the 18-year-old is now a Nerazzurri player.
Bastoni is an Italy Under-19 international and made three Serie A appearances last season for his former side.

His performances in those games, in addition to his showings for La Dea’s Primavera side, were clearly enough to convince the Beneamata hierarchy of his potential.
Inter have signed Bastoni outright, on a long-term contract, although he will continue his development with Atalanta until 2019.
