Torino have officially signed Dutch defender Perr Schuurs from Ajax in a deal believed to be worth €9.5m plus various add-ons.
The centre-back flew in from Amsterdam on Wednesday morning and had his medical tests today before putting pen to paper.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the transfer fee is €9.5m plus up to €3.5m in performance-related bonuses.
Toro will also owe Ajax a 15 per cent cut of any future sell-on fee.
The 22-year-old is a product of the Fortuna Sittard academy and joined Ajax in 2018 for €2m.
He had been linked with a Serie A move several times before, including Fiorentina, Napoli and Bologna, but opted for Torino where he replaces Juventus-bound Gleison Bremer.
Although Schuurs has been called up several times for international duty with the Netherlands, he is still waiting for his first senior cap.
His season has already begun, as he played three games with Ajax in the 2022-23 campaign between the Eredivisie and Johan Cruijff Schaal.
