Zlatan Ibrahimovic has no reason to leave Milan, says former teammate Massimo Oddo. “Why would he want to go?”

There is talk that this could be Ibra’s last season with the Rossoneri after he stated earlier this month that he’s starting to get tired of the game.

“He plays in one of the most important clubs in the world and I don’t see why he would want to go anywhere else,” said Oddo, who is on loan at Lecce from Milan.

“He’s won a lot and he’ll continue to win a lot.

“I know the Milan environment very well and it would be difficult to find somewhere else where you can be so happy.”

After an injury-plagued start to the season, the former Ajax man is starting to make a difference for his team again.

“I’m feeling good,” Ibra told Aftonbladet. “You can struggle with highs and lows after injury, but I feel in good shape now.

“I want to maintain myself at these levels for the future.”

Milan travel to Lecce in Serie A this weekend.
