Milan’s Luca Antonelli claims there are not many teams in Serie A who are better than the Rossoneri.
The San Siro club have finished 8th, 10th and 7th in the last three seasons, failing to secure the goal of returning to European competition.
However, in an interview with Corriere Dello Sport, the defender said Vincenzo Montella’s side should be looking to compete with anyone this campaign.

However, in an interview with Corriere Dello Sport, the defender said Vincenzo Montella’s side should be looking to compete with anyone this campaign.
“It is better not to set goals,” Antonelli commented. “In the last two years we have always said we want to get back in Europe, but we haven’t managed it.
“We need to keep our heads down and work. The target is to be competitive with everyone.
“Other than Juve, there aren’t many teams better than us.”
The 29-year-old also discussed his personal form at San Siro, as well as his memories of growing up as a Milan youth player prior to moving away in 2008.
“On a personal level these have been two positive seasons.
“I have played more than 40 games and scored four goals. I was very happy at Genoa and I would only have left for Milan, which was the team of my heart since I was little.
“I was here ten years ago, but that was a Milan where it was almost impossible to play, one of the best line-ups in history.
“I grew up training with Maldini, Dida, Gattuso, Nesta, Pirlo and all those great champions.”
