‘Not a problem’ for Giovinco to leave

Sebastian Giovinco’s agent warns that it’s ‘not a problem’ for his client to leave Juventus, but warns the Bianconeri would regret it.

The diminutive forward is out of contract at the end of the season, and has yet to be offered a new deal.

That has led to speculation that Giovinco could leave the club, and the player’s agent admits that’s a possibility.

“Juventus own him, at the moment we’re in a protected perioid,” Andrea D’Amico told Sky Sport.

That has led to speculation that Giovinco could leave the club, and the player’s agent admits that’s a possibility.

“Juventus own him, at the moment we’re in a protected perioid,” Andrea D’Amico told Sky Sport.

“From January onwards there will be six months left on his contract and we’ll enter into a period where we can talk [to other clubs].

“He’s already said that and the end of the season he will evaluate his options.

“There’s still a Scudetto to win and the Champions League. Whenever he’s been called upon he’s always contributed.

“We’ve met with Juve many times in the past, so if they called us we would talk. We haven’t had long negotiations, but there has always been availability from our side.

“Fiorentina? We know the Coach likes him, but the project must be assessed as a whole, the approval of the Coach is not enough.

“We need to draw some boundaries, Giovinco is in the prime of his career, he’s already got valuable experience.

“I think it would be a risk for Juve to give him up. For us, it’s not a problem.

“If things continue as they are, the offers will come, no doubt.”
