North London derby approaches for Lautaro?

Lautaro Martinez is a much appreciated figure in North London as both Arsenal and Tottenham prepare for a summer duel for his signature.

The 24-year-old is having a strong season with the Nerazzurri and he’s keen to bring the fans their second consecutive Scudetto. The Argentinian forward has netted 14 goals in 27 Serie A appearances this season, as well as the winning goal in the Champions League clash against Liverpool at Anfield.

As detailed by Calciomercato.com, Arsenal are the latest club to come forward for Lautaro, looking to provide a new striker for Mikel Arteta following Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s departure in January.

Tottenham are also keen to pick up the player, with sporting director Fabio Paratici reportedly planning another Serie A raid in the summer.

Lautaro, fresh from his contract renewal with Inter which lasts until 2026 and earns him €6m net per season, is happy in the Lombardy capital and will not push to leave the club in the summer.

Inter may decide to cash in however, although nothing concrete has taken place so far. It’s likely that the Nerazzurri would push for more than €80m, with his contract having no release clause.
