Antonio Nocerino has officially terminated his contract with Benevento, amid reports the ex-Orlando City midfielder will return to MLS.
The 33-year-old had joined Benevento in Serie B as a free agent over the summer and made nine appearances for the club in all competitions.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the decision to leave was a personal one and that is also pushing him towards a return to America.
Among his former clubs, Nocerino has represented Juventus, Milan, West Ham United, Torino and Parma.
