Verona sporting director Sean Sogliano has cooled reports linking him with a possible move to Milan at the end of the season.
The Diavolo are expected to make changes in the summer and it has been suggested that Sogliano could become their new transfer chief.
“I’m happy with the link, but I haven’t been contacted by them,” the former defender told the Corriere Di Verona.
“My future? At the end of the campaign I will sit down with the President and we’ll have a chat as we always have.”
Sogliano, 42, ended his playing career in 2004 at Ancona. He has subsequently worked for Varese and Palermo.
He was hired by Verona in June 2012.
The official was also inevitably asked about the January transfer window. “Unless we get any offers which we can’t refuse, the intention is to not sell anyone important.”
