Palermo have snapped up Inter Zapresic striker Ilija Nestorovski for next season. “Nothing scares me."
The 26-year-old Macedonia international has an impressive 25 goals in 33 games, making him top scorer in the Croatian HNL league.
“I am happy to be joining the Rosanero,” he told reporters. “I am also said to be saying goodbye to Croatia, where I had three marvellous years.
“I do love a challenge, nothing scares me and I will make my mark from the first training session, trying to convince the Coach of my potential.
“I can’t wait to get started. Money won’t change me, as I’ll remain as humble as I was when I arrived at Zapresic.”
The deal had already been struck in January for a measly €500,000, but he had to wait until the club freed up a spot for a non-EU player.
The man making way is forward Uros Djurdjevic, who will be sold this summer.
