Multiple reports in Italy claim Napoli captain Giovanni Di Lorenzo isn’t fully fit due to muscle issues, so he’s in doubt for Friday’s away game against Juventus.

The Italy international has played every game from start to finish this season, collecting 19 appearances across all competitions.

However, according to Il Mattino, the Italian right-back sustained muscle problems during a training session on Tuesday so it is not guaranteed that he will be available on Friday, when Napoli meet Juventus at the Allianz Stadium.

Surely, Di Lorenzo will do anything to be available in Turin especially because Walter Mazzarri is already dealing with a few injuries in defence with both Mario Rui and Mathias Olivera on the treatment table.

According to Calciomercato.com, Alessandro Zanoli has also trained separately at Castel Volturno while the next two sessions will be key to understanding if Di Lorenzo will be fit to play against Juventus.
