Empoli’s President has claimed that Napoli, Roma and Inter are all interested in signing midfielder Ismael Bennacer.
Speaking to Radio CRC on Monday, Fabrizio Corsi confessed all three clubs were looking at Bennacer but suggested Roma were leading the pack as Daniele De Rossi had already ‘asked’ about the one-time Arsenal youngster.
“He’s a good player, assessments are made over time,” he told Radio CRC.

“He’s a lad born in 1997 and seems already developed, despite having huge potential. He’s on a great path of growth, so we must let him work in peace.
“We’re also a healthy club, so we’re not obliged to sell. The Azzurri [Napoli] are interested, but it remains to be seen with them.
“He could also end up at Roma, where De Rossi has already told us how much he rates the lad.
“Daniele asked my staff, ‘where did you find a strong lad like him?’ Then there’s also Inter, who have many of my former staff.”
