Napoli have officially registered Leander Dendoncker’s contract within Lega Calcio and are preparing to welcome Nehuén Pérez from Udinese, their fifth January signing.
The Partenopei have been the busiest top Serie A side in the winter transfer window, having already completed four signings with the fifth just around the corner.
The defending Serie A champions registered Dendoncker’s contract at Lega Calcio on Friday morning, meaning the Belgian midfielder has officially completed a loan transfer from Aston Villa. According to Fabrizio Romano, Napoli have an option to buy for €9m.
Dendoncker will be followed by Udinese centre-back Perez as according to multiple sources in Italy, the two clubs have reached an agreement over a €18m deal for the 23-year-old centre-back. According to Sky Italia and Il Mattino, it’s a €16m transfer plus €2m in add-ons.
The Argentinean defender will reportedly sign a four-year contract with an option for a further campaign at the Stadio Maradona, where he will earn €1.5m per season.
