Napoli have reportedly offered €16m plus the 18-month loan of Adam Ounas in order to sign Sassuolo winger Matteo Politano.
Neroverdi director Giovanni Carnevali confirmed on Saturday that Politano “wants to join Napoli” and has requested a transfer.
Juventus made an approach too, but Politano’s determination to come to the Stadio San Paolo could prove decisive.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the latest offer on the table is €16m plus bonuses and the 18-month loan of winger Ounas.
Sassuolo need to find a replacement for Politano and their first choice is Sampdoria’s Gianluca Caprari, who is valued at €12m.
