Napoli have reportedly made an offer worth €5m for Ecuador international Piero Hincapié, but Talleres expect more and are also in talks with other clubs.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, the Partenopei made a formal proposal to buy the 19-year-old centre-back for €5m.
However, Club Atletico Talleres are demanding at least €7m before they will begin to discuss a potential transfer.
Napoli face plenty of competition from the likes of Bayer Leverkusen, Lokomotiv Moscow and Roberto De Zerbi’s Shakhtar Donetsk.
Hincapié has five senior caps for Ecuador, impressing during the Copa America last month, where they reached the quarter-final.
He only joined Talleres in August 2020 from Independiente in a deal worth under €1m, but his transfer value has sky-rocketed.
