The Partenopei owner yesterday revealed that he’d already spoken to the Grifone about the Polish international, who has scored in every Serie A game this season.

Now Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that a €35m offer has already been made, and a meeting will be scheduled with Grifone President Enrico Preziosi.

However, Genoa are in no hurry to set a price for Piątek, for whom they paid just €4.5m this summer.

They hope that his price will rise even further between now and the end of the season, so are unlikely to accept such an early bid from Napoli.
