Napoli, Gonalons wait on Lyon

Napoli and Maxime Gonalons are reportedly waiting on Lyon President Jean-Michel Aulas’ approval to complete his transfer.

The Vesuviani have been increasingly linked with a €10m move for the Ligue 1 outfit’s midfield captain, whilst the 24-year-old has also commented that he is aware of the Italians’ pursuit.

The Vesuviani have been increasingly linked with a €10m move for the Ligue 1 outfit’s midfield captain, whilst the 24-year-old has also commented that he is aware of the Italians’ pursuit.

Reports are that terms between Napoli and Gonalons have been agreed and that today is seen as decisive on whether or not a move can be completed.

Reports in France have it that Gonalons yesterday met with Lyon President Aulas to talk over the transfer and that a decision to approve it or not is expected from Aulas at some stage today.

Napoli are described by the Corriere dello Sport as optimistic that the deal is close to completion.
