Napoli could sell Zuniga

In disagreement over treatment of a knee injury, Napoli could sell Juan Camilo Zuniga in January should the right offer arrive.

Reports yesterday indicated that the Colombian wants to have another operation on his right knee, while the club are reluctant to sanction such a procedure as the full-back would almost certainly then miss most of the campaign.

Reports yesterday indicated that the Colombian wants to have another operation on his right knee, while the club are reluctant to sanction such a procedure as the full-back would almost certainly then miss most of the campaign.

Il Mattino now suggests that the Partenopei could be willing to sell the 28-year-old in January should the right offer be forthcoming.

The newspaper reports that the former Siena right-back is no longer considered untouchable in the Napoli squad, having failed to recapture his best form after signing a new contract at the beginning of last season.

Zuniga has been heavily linked with Arsenal in the past, and the Gunners are believed to be in the market for a right-back, having also been linked with Stephan Lichtsteiner of Juventus in recent days.
