Mannone only recently signed a contract extension with Sunderland to June 2018, but his future is in the balance after manager Sam Allardyce left to take the England job.

Although Mannone started out in the prestigious Atalanta youth academy, he was poached as a teenager by Arsenal in 2005.

He’s been in England ever since with Barnsley, Hull City and from 2013 Sunderland.
