The defensive midfielder had to come off during the 2-2 draw with Bologna, and exams showed a first-degree injury to his calf muscle.
He will therefore not be able to feature against Milan on Sunday, although he should have recovered by next week.
The 31-year-old has played eight games for the Ducali this season.
