Former Inter President Massimo Moratti feels “very sorry” for Jose Mourinho, after his sacking from Chelsea.
Moratti took the Portuguese Coach to the Nerazzurri in 2008, having sacked Roberto Mancini despite winning the Scudetto.
Following a Scudetto in his first season, Mourinho guided the Beneamata to a historic treble in 2010, winning Serie A, the Coppa Italia and the Champions League.
After a spell at Real Madrid, the tactician returned to Chelsea, winning the Premier League and the League Cup last season.

However, with the team lying in 16th place after 16 games this season, it was announced earlier today that Mourinho has left Stamford Bridge.
“I’m very sorry for Mourinho,” Moratti told ANSA.
“Maybe it was a situation that even he didn’t know how to resolve, it was so new compared to what he’s used to.
“His unquestionable professional skills remain valid though.
“What went wrong? I don’t know, it was all very strange, a tunnel in which you couldn’t see the light at the end.”
