Former Inter owner Massimo Moratti admits “I didn’t expect Stefano Sensi to be so good”, comparing him to Wesley Sneijder.
Sensi has made an instant impact at Inter since arriving from Sassuolo over the summer, scoring two goals in his first three appearances and holding his own in Antonio Conte’s midfield.
“The Zhang family members are very kind, both Steven and his father,” Moratti told Corriere dello Sport.

“They’re very keen on doing well and I’m happy with the current situation. I’m very impressed with Sensi and the Coach.
“The basics are in place for Inter to do well. Conte’s a good Coach, in the statements he makes and the spirit he’s given to the team.
“I didn’t expect Sensi to be so good. He’s clever, quick and changed the team a bit like Sneijder.”
The 74-year-old was then asked about the weekend’s Derby della Madonnina against Milan.
“It won’t say anything [about the season], but Inter have what it takes to fight for the Scudetto.”
