“The decision wasn’t up to me,” he told reporters. “But there is definitely some regret because I worked with him for 10 years.
“It was totally unexpected, but I think the new ownership wants some new voices, which you have to respect.
“My tips for Thohir? He has to be around a lot more and has to rely only on those people who he has 100 per cent confidence in.”
