Milan boss Vincenzo Montella admits he “dislikes” Luiz Adriano’s lack of involvement thus far but will give the striker his chance in the near future.
Luiz Adriano has played just three minutes of football for Milan this season after months of speculation about his future, but Montella made it clear he still valued the former Shakhtar Donetsk hitman.
“Competition’s good for every team,” the Coach explained at a Press conference ahead of Lazio on Tuesday.

“There’s also Luiz Adriano and I dislike that for now he’s been involved little, but we’ll try to involve him because he can be useful.
“Gustavo Gomez in three minutes against Sampdoria should be viewed as an example because even in three minutes you can be important.
“Bacca? What’s important is for him to have a return like a capocannoniere [top goalscorer].
“I had the highest average number of goals as a player never was a top scorer, and that’s perhaps more important.
“For Bacca, however, the numbers speak for themselves. He came on well against Genoa, giving a push and with the right spirit.”
