Former Juventus and VfB Stuttgart defender Cristian Molinaro has signed a new contract at the age of 37 with Serie B side Venezia.
The centre-back had already played for Venezia last season, managing 12 appearances after joining as a free agent in January, and had been expected to retire this summer.
Instead, he has signed a new contract to June 2021, with an option to extend to June 2022.
Molinaro is most famous for his time at Juventus, but also played for Stuttgart, Parma, Torino, Frosinone, Siena and Salernitana.
