MLS move for Muntari?

Milan midfielder Sulley Muntari will move to MLS at the end of the season, according to the latest rumours.

The Ghanaian has a contract until June 2016, but has made just 12 starts for the Rossoneri this season, and is expected to leave in the summer.

According to Sky, Fiorentina were interested, but recent poor performances have turned them off the idea, and the 30-year-old will instead move to Major League Soccer in the USA.

Gianluca Di Marzio’s website reports that Los Angeles FC, an expansion franchise for 2017 are likely to be interested.

That would probably see Muntari loaned out for the initial year of his deal, in a move similar to David Villa’s spell at Melbourne City ahead of New York City’s MLS debut this year.
