Diego Milito has warned Juventus that Inter “would still have been the first” Italian team to win the Treble.
Inter famously achieved a clean sweep of major trophies under Jose Mourinho during the 2009-10 campaign, with Milito’s 30 goals that season playing a key role.
“Napoli and Juve? They’re both in a League of their own, the numbers say so, but it’s not only that,” he told Gazzetta dello Sport.

“Napoli and Juve? They’re both in a League of their own, the numbers say so, but it’s not only that,” he told Gazzetta dello Sport.
“They’re two very different teams but nonetheless very strong ones. I think their clash in April will be decisive.
“Juve for the Treble? I don’t want to wish ill on others, but if we lose exclusivity of the Treble, we’d still have been the first to achieve it.
“Higuain? He’s the world’s best. He can always make the difference. Lautaro Martinez? He’s fantastic.
“He’s so young, but he has a winning mentality and professionalism, which means he can already be decisive.
“He has a crazy body, he’s strong in the air, he knows how to defend and is very complete technically.
“Having so many strikers to choose from for the World Cup will be a big problem for Sampaoli.
“No Italy? I still struggle to believe it. Their football movement must ask itself questions about the moment it’s going through, but the national team still had all the means to qualify. A World Cup without Italy isn’t the same.
“Inter-Napoli on Sunday? It’s clear that I’ll be cheering for Inter to start over, although I’d be a bit disappointed if it took Napoli out of the Scudetto equation.
“For how they play, they deserve to win it.”
