That would mean making the move on the eve of the opening round of the Serie A season.
Napoli have agreed a deal with Roma for €18m plus €7m in various bonuses.
Milik’s agent is at the Trigoria ground today for negotiations with the Roma directors over personal terms, which have been going for at least five hours today.
Reports emerging from the camp suggest Milik is more ‘convinced’ of the move and ready to complete it soon.
Once that deal is done, then Dzeko can rapidly push through his transfer to Juventus, which has already been agreed.
The Bianconeri will pay €15m for the Bosnian, on a two-year contract worth €7.5m per season plus bonuses.
It remains to be seen whether Dzeko’s arrival would rule out Luis Suarez from Barcelona, especially after he took his Italian exam this morning in Perugia to get an Italian passport.
