According to reports in Italy, Milan will raise their offer for Club Brugge to sign Charles De Ketelaere following a meeting with the player’s agent.

The Belgium international is the Rossoneri’s priority target in attack, but their opening €20m bid plus bonuses was rejected by Club Brugge.

The Belgian side have received a €30m bid from Leeds, so the Rossoneri have been told that they need to at least match the offer from the Premier League.

Gazzetta and Sky Sport Italia describe Milan’s first bid as ‘explorative’ and claim the Rossoneri will soon match Leeds’ offer. As per Tuttosport, Milan’s 19-year-old striker Emil Roback could be included in the deal.

The Rossoneri directors met De Ketelaere’s agent this week receiving the green light from the player to join the club.

Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech remains an option for the Serie A champions, but De Ketelaere tops their shopping list, so they will first try to sign the 21-year-old.

Both players could still move to the Stadio Meazza as the Morocco international can leave Chelsea on loan with an option to buy.
