Although Milan have already played twice since the lockdown, the game on Sunday is their first at San Siro for three months.
Lombardy, the region the Rossoneri are situated in, remains worst hit by the coronavirus pandemic in Italy with 16,610 deaths.
“Ahead of the game, AC Milan will be honouring those who passed away and those who suffered as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic in Italy and all over the world,” read a statement on the club’s official website.
“The commemoration will be made of various moments to create an emotional flow of remembrance and meditation, starting with a video in memory of the Covid-19 victims made by the Milan Media House.
“The video is narrated by the Club's official speaker Gegio, who is also going to praise all doctors, nurses, police officers, volunteers and all those who helped people in need during this health emergency.
“The San Siro stadium will feature a dedicated choreography with the seats of the First and Second Orange Ring set up to symbolize the lives lost during the pandemic.
“18 AC Milan shirts are going to be displayed in one row of the central stand as a token to the passion and love of the Rossoneri fans who left us.”
The Rossoneri will also respect the memory of Prati, who died earlier this week, by laying down 46 white roses (he was born in 1946) next to his No 11 jersey.
A minute’s silence will be held and both sets of players will wear black armbands, given the forward also represented Roma.
