Milan continue to pursuit Jesus Manuel Corona of FC Porto and are scheduled to meet with the Portuguese giants to find a solution.
Sky Sport Italia reports the Rossoneri are pushing to reach an agreement with Porto over Tecatito Corona’s potential move to San Siro, but there’s a €7m-gap between the offer and demand.
The report claims Poro are asking for €17m for the winger and that Milan have offered €10m so far.
The Rossoneri are reportedly set to meet with Porto again soon to continue the negotiations and could be willing to stretch to €15m to complete a deal.
Corona could play as a winger in the attacking trident and also alternate with Brahim Diaz in the middle behind the lone striker in Stefano Pioli’s 4-2-3-1 formation.
The Milan directors are trying to find the right profile to complete the attacking department at San Siro and give Pioli the playmaker he is looking for on the transfer market.
Corona has been identified as a perfect fit, but the two parties are still trying to resolve the problems relating to the evaluation of the player.
The 28-year-old has played 269 competitive games with FC Porto so far, scoring 31 goals and contributing 68 assists in the process.
The Mexico international arrived from FC Twente in August 2015 for a reported €10.5m and moved to Europe from Monterrey two years earlier.
