The Lega Serie A have officially confirmed that the game between Bologna and Milan at the Dall’Ara has been postponed due to extreme weather warnings, and will have to be played out at a later date, with the first available date for both teams falling in January 2025.
Lots of Milan supporters fell particularly hard-done by, as the team will now have to do without suspended duo Theo Hernandez and Tijjani Reijnders for next week’s game against the table topping Napoli instead of 12th-placed Bologna.
Milan fans question why other events in Bologna not called off
Increasingly frustrating for the Rossoneri supporters is the fact that other events in Bologna have been allowed to go ahead on Friday and Saturday.
The Bologna Boxing Night at the Unipol Arena in Bologna has been allowed to go ahead on Friday evening, although it will be carried out behind closed doors.
La Gazzetta dello Sport also point out that a large automotive and motorcycling exhibition called the Auto e Moto d’Epoca at Bologna Fiere has not been called off either.
