Milan made contact with Dzeko’s representatives to understand his intentions for next year after a disappointing debut campaign in the capital, says the newspaper.
The Diavolo could have to shell out €12-13m and a salary of €4.5m to bring the former Manchester City striker to San Siro.
Any move could be dependent on the future of Carlos Bacca though, as the Colombian’s intentions remain unclear.
The report says that Bacca is attracting interest from clubs in Europe and China and his departure would be required in order to bring in a replacement.
