Milan have reportedly launched their first bid for Roma defender Alessio Romagnoli, with Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic keen to bring him in.
The new Milan Coach worked with the 20-year-old while he was on loan at Sampdoria last season, but the defender’s agent previously claimed he wouldn’t join Milan because they aren’t in Europe.

However, Il Giornale has reported that the Rossoneri haven’t been put off and have tabled a bid of €14m for the Italy Under-21 international.
This figure is believed to be quite some way off Roma’s valuation of the player, which was reported yesterday as being set at €30m, but could kick-start negotiations between the two clubs.
