The 20-year-old has enjoyed a change in fortunes, going from dollar bills being thrown at him and reportedly asking for his last renewal to be cancelled to recently surpassing 150 official appearances for the Rossoneri.
He has conceded just three goals in his last 11 games as Milan leapfrogged Inter into third place in Serie A at the weekend.
