Chelsea are prepared to let Milan sign Carney Chukwuemeka on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season, claim reports in Italy.

According to Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, the negotiations between the two clubs are progressing well and could be open to very favourable terms for the Rossoneri.

The Blues are happy to let Chukwuemeka leave on loan with an option to buy at the end of the 2024-25 campaign.

Chukwuemeka impressed at Chelsea

The midfielder is only 20 years old and a regular for England at Under-20 level, having represented them all the way up through the various youth teams.

Chelsea only purchased him from Aston Villa in 2022 at a cost of €18m, but he made his 12 appearances for the club this season, contributing two goals and one assist.

He had already been linked with a potential Milan switch in January 2023.

Milan have already done business with Chelsea in the past for Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Christian Pulisic, getting the best out of them compared to their performances at Stamford Bridge.

They are also still said to be discussing a potential move for Romelu Lukaku.
