Milan and Roma have both drawn up contracts for free agent Evan Ndicka, who has also been in talks with Tottenham, reports detail.
The 23-year-old Ivorian defender is leaving Eintracht Frankfurt this month on a free transfer, something which has already been confirmed by the Bundesliga outfit. He impressed during his five years in Germany, attracting the attention of a number of clubs around Europe.
Milan and Roma are ready to compete for his signature, hoping to bring him to Serie A. The former are in a strange position, having recently fired technical director Paolo Maldini, whilst the latter are hoping to give Jose Mourinho more options to fight for a top four finish next season.
As reported by RMC sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins, Milan have offered Ndicka a five-year contract worth around €3m net per season, which would rise over the coming years. Roma have offered a slightly higher deal, €4m net per season for five years, and are confident that he’ll be heading to the Italian capital.
Tottenham have also been in talks with the 23-year-old defender, but a move to Serie A is looking increasingly likely ahead of his contract expiry with Eintracht Frankfurt.
