Milan have reached an agreement with CSKA Moscow midfielder Keisuke Honda, but must first sell Robinho in order to sign the Japan international.
Corriere dello Sport have reported today that the Rossoneri have agreed personal terms with the Asian playmaker – offering the 27-year-old a four-year deal worth €2.5m per season.
However, in order to get that sort of cash, the Rome-based newspaper believes that the Brazil international will have to depart from San Siro.
It is claimed though, that vice-President Adriano Galliani is confident a deal with Santos can be reached, with a fee of around €8m likely to be agreed.
The only sticking point now is the fee Milan will have to pay CSKA for Honda. Massimiliano Allegri's men have already had a €2m offer turned down, but with his contract set to run out on December 31 2013, the Diavolo are hesitant to go to the Russian club's €7m asking-price.
