American baseball legend Mike Piazza is interested in buying up bankrupt club Parma. "It's true."
"It is true, I have been to Parma recently and I am interested, but I can't say for sure that it will go through," Piazza told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
It’s believed Piazza was in the stands for Sunday’s last game of the season between Sampdoria and Parma.
The Ducali were placed under administration in March and can only register for the Serie B season if they find a new buyer willing to wipe out the sporting debt.

So far no offers have arrived in any of the auctions, but on June 9 proposals are expected to arrive.
It’s reported Piazza got in contact with the Coach of Parma Baseball team Gilberto Gerali and an American banker to prepare plans.
Piazza is a fan of Italian football and specifically Palermo.
