“Ljajic is the player who is supposed to make us step up in quality. If he plays like this, we’d be better off not having him in the squad at all.
“I hope he wakes up soon, otherwise we may as well use someone else.”
Mihajlovic was asked if he had crossed paths with ex-Torino defender Maksimovic, who famously forced a transfer to Napoli over the summer by quitting pre-season training.
“No, I didn’t see him, but considering the person we’re dealing with, I had no doubts that was going to happen.”
