Serbia boss Sinisa Mihajlovic says he still doesn’t know why the axed Adem Ljajic refuses to sing the national anthem.
The Fiorentina player was sent home from international duty this week after failing to adhere to the code of conduct introduced by his former Viola boss.
“Ljajic didn’t want to explain to me why he wouldn’t sing,” the former Bologna and Catania tactician told La Nazione. “He just said it was for personal reasons.
“I simply can’t tolerate the fact that a player who represents the whole of Serbia will not take part in the national anthem.”
